Overview
Fixed screw RTD is a kind of temperature detector commonly used in medium and low temperature areas. Its main features are high measurement accuracy and stable performance. Among them, the measurement degree of platinum thermal resistance is, which is not only widely used in industrial temperature measurement, but also made into a standard reference instrument. The temperature sensing elements of the metal thermal resistance include the cross skeleton structure of the quartz sleeve, the rod structure of the fried dough twist skeleton structure, etc. There are many kinds of temperature sensing materials commonly used for metal thermal resistance, platinum wire is commonly used. In addition to platinum wire, there are also copper, nickel, iron, iron nickel, tungsten, silver and other metal thermal resistance materials for industrial measurement. Thin film thermal resistance is manufactured by electron cathode sputtering, which can realize industrial mass production. The framework is made of ceramic and the lead is made of platinum palladium alloy.
Fixed screw RTD is a primary element that converts temperature change into resistance value change. It is usually necessary to transfer resistance signal to computer control device or other primary instruments through leads. The industrial thermal resistance is installed at the production site and there is a certain distance from the control room. Therefore, the lead of the thermal resistance will have a great impact on the measurement results.
Fixed screw RTD material is based on the characteristic that the resistance value of metal conductor increases with the increase of temperature. Most thermal resistors are made of pure metal materials. At present, platinum and copper are widely used. In addition, nickel, manganese, rhodium and other materials have been used to make thermal resistors.
Working principle
Fixed screw RTD measures the temperature by using the characteristic that the resistance of a substance changes with the temperature. When the resistance value changes, the working instrument will display the temperature value corresponding to the resistance value.
