Fixed flange RTD
Overview
Fixed flange RTD is the most commonly used temperature detection instrument in medium and low temperature areas. Thermal resistance temperature measurement is based on the characteristic that the resistance value of metal conductor increases with the increase of temperature. It has the advantages of simple structure, convenient manufacture, high measurement accuracy, stable performance and large output signal. It can directly measure the temperature of liquid, gas and solid in the range of - 200 ℃ to 400 ℃ in various production processes. It can also be used with display instruments, recording instruments and electronic regulators.
Working principle
Fixed flange RTD is divided into platinum thermal resistance and copper thermal resistance. The Fixed flange RTD measures the temperature by using the characteristic that the resistance value of the metal conductor changes with the temperature. The heating part (temperature sensing element) of the thermal resistance is made by uniformly double winding the metal wire on the skeleton made of insulating material. When the measured medium has a temperature step, the measured temperature is the average temperature of the medium within the range of the temperature sensing element. In order to adapt to the diversification of industrial demand, nickel, manganese and other materials have been used to manufacture thermal resistors. The Fixed flange RTD usually needs to connect the resistance signal to the display instrument, recording instrument or computer through the lead.
