Installation requirements of Electromagnetic sewage flowmeter
1) Selection of installation environment for sewage electromagnetic flowmeter:
Keep away from devices with strong electromagnetic fields, such as large motors, large transformers, and large frequency converters.
The installation site should not have strong vibration, the pipeline is fixed firmly, and the ambient temperature does not change much.
The installation environment should be convenient for installation and maintenance.
2) Selection of installation position of sewage electromagnetic flowmeter:
The installation position must ensure that the pipe is always filled with the liquid to be tested. Select the liquid flow pulse small place, that is, should be far away from the pump and valve, elbow and other local resistance parts. When measuring two-phase (solid, liquid and gas, liquid) liquids, the place which is not likely to cause phase separation should be selected. The inner diameter or circumference of the measured pipe should be easy to measure and the ellipticity should be small.
3) Length of straight pipe section of sewage electromagnetic flowmeter: the length of straight pipe section on the upstream side of the sensor installation pipeline should be greater than or equal to 10D, and the length of straight pipe section on the downstream side should be no less than 5D(D is the diameter of the measured pipeline).
4) Flow control valve and regulating valve:
The flow control valve shall be installed in the pipeline under test on the upstream side of the sensor, and the flow regulating valve shall be installed on the downstream side of the sensor.

The measurement accuracy is not affected by the fluid density, viscosity, temperature, pressure and conductivity changes, the sensor induced voltage signal and the average flow rate is linear, so the measurement accuracy is high.
Measure open flow in the pipe, so there is no additional pressure loss; The sensor has a long life because there are no moving parts in the pipeline.
Because the induced voltage signal is formed in the entire field-filled space and is the average of the load surface of the pipe, the straight pipe section required for the sensor is shorter, with a length of 5 times the pipe diameter.
Only the lining and electrode of the sensor part are in contact with the liquid under test. As long as the electrodes and lining materials are reasonably selected, they can be resistant to corrosion and wear.
