The end face thermal resistance elements are wound by specially treated wires (copper or platinum wires). They are tightly wrapped in the front end of the thermometer. Compared with the general axial thermal resistance, the end face thermal resistance can more accurately and quickly reflect the actual temperature condition of the measured end face. It has many manufacturing methods and various types, which is suitable for temperature measurement on the surface of steam turbine, motor bearing bush or other body in power plant. When some end face thermal resistors are installed, because its lead is connected with the resistance element, it is necessary to rotate the lead synchronously with the end face thermal resistor, so as to ensure that the end face thermal resistor will not be artificially damaged in the installation, but this situation is inevitable in the actual installation process. Due to this situation, Ruike company has increased its scientific research efforts and successfully developed a special end face thermal resistance. This end face thermal resistance only needs to screw the screws at the outer end during installation, and there is no need for the lead wire to rotate synchronously with the end face thermal resistance.

Thermal resistance temperature measurement is based on the property that the resistance value of metal conductor increases with the increase of temperature to measure temperature. Thermal resistors are mostly made of pure metal materials. Platinum and copper are the most widely used materials. In addition, they are now made of nickel, manganese and rhodium.

Compared with the ordinary thermal resistance, the end thermal resistance has the following advantages:
1, small volume, no air gap inside, thermal inertia, small measurement lag;
2, good mechanical properties, vibration resistance, impact resistance;

4, long service life.
1, thermal resistance and display instrument indexing must be consistent
2. In order to eliminate the influence of resistance change of connecting wire, three-wire connection must be adopted. See Chapter 3 for details.
3. End thermal resistance is composed of temperature sensing element (resistance body), lead, insulation material, stainless steel sleeve combination of solid body, its outer diameter is generally φ1~φ8mm, small can reach φmm.
