Electromagnetic water flowmeter
Electromagnetic water flowmeter is composed of electromagnetic flowmeter sensor and electromagnetic flowmeter converter. It is an instrument used to measure the volume flow of various conductive liquids in pipelines and channels.
Electromagnetic flowmeter can be widely used to measure the volume flow of conductive liquid in municipal water supply, steel, petroleum, chemical industry, electric power, industry, water conservancy, water administration, water resources and other departments, especially suitable for the flow measurement of channels and small rivers and the sewage measurement of environmental protection treatment.

Installation requirements
1) Selection of installation environment for electromagnetic flowmeter:
Keep away from equipment with strong electromagnetic field as far as possible, such as large motor, large transformer, large frequency converter, etc.
The installation site shall be free from strong vibration, the pipeline shall be firmly fixed, and the ambient temperature shall not change much.
The installation environment shall be convenient for installation and maintenance.
2) Selection of installation position of electromagnetic flowmeter:
The installation position must ensure that the pipeline is always filled with the measured liquid. Select the place with small liquid flow pulse, that is, it should be far away from local resistance parts such as pump, valve and elbow. When measuring two-phase (solid, liquid, gas and liquid) liquid, the place that is not easy to cause phase separation shall be selected. The inner diameter or circumference of the measured pipe shall be easy to measure, and the ovality shall be small.
3) Length of straight pipe section of electromagnetic flowmeter: the length of straight pipe section on the upstream side of the sensor installation pipeline shall be greater than or equal to 10d, and that on the downstream side shall not be less than 5D (D is the diameter of the measured pipeline).
4) Flow control valves and regulating valves:
The flow control valve shall be installed in the measured pipeline on the upstream side of the sensor, and the flow regulating valve shall be installed on the downstream side of the sensor.
Generally, the flow control valve shall be fully open during flow.
Performance characteristics
The instrument has simple and reliable structure, no movable parts and long service life.
No intercepting and blocking parts, no pressure loss and fluid blockage.
It has no mechanical inertia, fast response and good stability. It can be applied to automatic detection, regulation and program control systems.
The measurement accuracy is not affected by the type of medium to be measured and its physical parameters such as temperature, viscosity, density and pressure.
Different combinations of PTFE or rubber lining and electrode materials such as HC, Hb, 316L and Ti can meet the needs of different media.
There are pipeline type, plug-in type and other flowmeter models.
EEPROM emory is adopted, and the storage and protection of measurement and operation data is safe and reliable.
It has two types of integration and separation.
