Application method of magnetic flowmeter

The magnetic flowmeter has two operating states: automatic measurement state and parameter setting state.

When the instrument is powered on, it will automatically enter the measurement state. In the automatic measurement state, the magnetic flowmeter automatically completes each measurement function and displays the corresponding measurement data. In the parameter setting state, the user uses four panel keys to complete the instrument parameter setting.

1. Key function

1.1 key function in automatic measurement state

Down key: cycle to select the content displayed on the down line of the screen;

Up key: cycle to select the content displayed on the screen;

Composite key + confirm key: enter the parameter setting state;

Confirm key: return to automatic measurement status;

Adjustment of LCD display contrast in measurement state: small LCD is pressed for several seconds through "composite key + up key" or "composite key + down key"; The large LCD is realized by adjusting the potentiometer on the back of the large LCD.

1.2 key function in parameter setting state

Down key: the number at the cursor minus 1;

Up key: add 1 to the number at the cursor;

Compound key + down key: move the cursor to the left;

Compound key + up key: move the cursor to the right;

Confirm key: Enter / exit the submenu;

Confirm key: in any state, press it continuously for two seconds to return to the automatic measurement state.

Note: 1. When using the "composite key", press the composite key first, and then press and hold the "up key" or "down key" at the same time

2. In the parameter setting state, if there is no key operation within 3 minutes, the instrument will automatically return to the measurement state.

3. For the flow direction selection of flow zero correction, move the cursor to the "+" or "-" on the leftmost side and switch with "up" or "down" to make it opposite to the actual flow direction.

4. For flow unit selection, move the cursor to the originally displayed flow unit in the "flow range setting" menu, and then switch with "up" or "down" to make it meet the needs.

2. Parameter setting function key operation

To set or modify the parameters of magnetic flowmeter, the flowmeter must enter the parameter setting state from the measurement state. In the measurement state, press the "composite key + confirm key" to display the state conversion password (0000), and modify it according to the password provided by the manufacturer according to the confidentiality level. Press "composite key + confirm key" again to enter the required parameter setting state.

Installation of intelligent magnetic flowmeter sensor on process pipeline

1. The plugging measuring tube of intelligent magnetic flowmeter must be completely filled with medium at any time, and cannot work normally when the tube is insufficient or empty. When the medium is insufficient, the method of raising the height of the outlet pipe at the rear end of the flowmeter can be used to fill the medium pipe to avoid the insufficient pipe and gas adhering to the electrode.

2. Vacuum in the pipeline will damage the lining of the flowmeter, which needs special attention.

3. The positive direction of flow shall be consistent with the positive direction indicated by the arrow on the flowmeter.

4. The intelligent magnetic flowmeter can be installed on the straight pipe or on the horizontal or inclined pipe, but the central connection of the two electrodes is required to be horizontal.

5. For liquid-solid two-phase fluid, it is best to use vertical installation to make the measured medium flow from top to bottom, which can make the lining of the flowmeter wear evenly and prolong the service life.

6. The flowmeter shall have enough space near the pipe flange for installation and maintenance.

7. If the measuring pipeline vibrates, there shall be fixed supports on both sides of the flowmeter.

8. If the measuring medium is heavily polluted liquid, the flowmeter body shall be installed in the bypass pipeline to evacuate and clear the flow without interrupting the process operation.

9. When installing the flow meter with PTFE lining, the bolts connecting the flange shall be tightened evenly, otherwise it is easy to crush the PTFE lining, and it is best to use a torque wrench.
